O. Sami Saydjari
Sami has been a visionary thought leader in cybersecurity for over three decades. He has worked for elite cybersecurity organizations, including DARPA, NSA, and NASA. He has published landmark papers and a textbook in the field. Sami has provided consultation to national leadership on cybersecurity policy and educated the public through interviews with major news media such as CNN, PBS, ABC, the New York Times, Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Time magazine. He recently joined the faculty at Dartmouth University as a Lecturer in cybersecurity.
Dr. Rami Saydjari, FACS, MBA
Dr. Rami Saydjari was born in Wisconsin and completed an undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Rice University in Houston and an MD at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. While completing medical school and general surgery training, he published 30 papers and gave scientific presentations at professional meetings. He later got an MBA and worked twenty years as a private practice surgeon and healthcare administrator giving interviews on local radio and in medical magazines before retiring to write and enjoy time with his family.
Dr. Razi Saydjari
Razi was born in Syria and immigrated to the United States as a young child when he was 3 years old. He went to Baylor University as an undergraduate majoring in physics and became a meteorologist in the United States Air Force. Razi then decided to pursue a career in medicine and enrolled at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, TX where he completed his MD degree and general surgery residency.
He served as a commander at a base hospital in Wyoming before retiring as a Major. He then entered private practice as a general surgeon and had a thriving professional career in Maine and Wyoming. Razi is also an entrepreneur and recently bought and runs a large marina at the Alcova Reservoir in Wyoming as well as a boat dealership in Casper.
Dr. Maria Maldonado
Maria is a Physician-Writer who practices primary care medicine in New York City. She graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and trained at New York Presbyterian/Cornell Medical Center. Her research focuses on health equity, patient-physician communication, and the intersection between the arts and policy. Her medical narrative essays have been published in medical anthologies, the Journal of the American Medical Association, Annals of Internal Medicine, Health Affairs, and the Washington Post.
